Delete account and data
You can delete your WishDesk account and erase your cloud data at any time. The fastest path is the in-app flow described below — no email exchange required.
Inside the app
- Open WishDesk and sign in with the account you want to delete.
- Tap Resumo in the bottom dock.
- Open the "Delete account and data" expandable panel.
- Type DELETE in the confirmation field (case-sensitive).
- Tap "Delete my account".
The action runs server-side via the delete-account edge function. You will be signed out immediately and all local data linked to that session is also cleared from the device.
What is deleted
- Your WishDesk account login (Supabase Auth user).
- All your wishlists and the items inside them.
- Price history recorded for any of your items.
- Saved price alerts attached to your items.
- Push notification tokens registered for your devices.
- Shared lists you own (and the invites that pointed to them).
- Your public Hub presence — lists you published are unpublished, your likes are removed, your reports stay but are detached from your identity.
What is NOT deleted
- Anonymous open counts on public Hub lists (aggregated metric, not tied to any user).
- Copies of public lists other users imported into their own accounts — they were copied at import time and now belong to those users.
- Encrypted backup snapshots used for disaster recovery are rotated within 90 days and are not user-accessible.
Timing
The deletion is immediate on our database. Cached push tokens with Apple may take up to 24 hours to drop. If you want a written confirmation, email us after running the in-app deletion.
This action cannot be undone. Before deleting, you can export your wishlists from the app via Export CSV on any list. The CSV includes names, links, prices, brand, model, status, priority, tags and notes.
Need help?
If you cannot access the app for any reason (forgotten password, device lost, etc.), email [email protected] from the address registered on the account. We will verify ownership and delete the account on your behalf.
